We shoot at the hour when St. Augustine is worth photographing: the last half hour of light on the bayfront, or early morning while the streets are still empty. Good light here lasts about thirty minutes, so the route is planned in advance and none of it is spent looking for a spot.

There are two of us. Anatoly is closer to your own age and he works like it: he gives you something to do instead of a pose to hold, and the camera stays out of the conversation. That is why these pictures look like the two of you and not like a catalogue.
